Dr. Gabriel Rogers is the owner and operator of The Angel Gabriel Company (AGC). He has a myriad of direct care and administrative know-how. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Dr. Rogers has over 20 years of experience as a Psychotherapist and has functioned in both hospital and private practice environments. He has provided clinical consultation to the National Football League (NFL) and has successfully founded the AGC in the Charlotte Metro area, providing counseling services to individuals and families from many walks of life. He has served as an Adjunct Professor within the subjects of Psychology, Counseling and Behavioral Research for many local Universities. In 2005 he was appointed by the Governor of North Carolina to serve as a board member and the Vice Chairman of the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. On this board, Dr. Rogers wrote law and policy, as well as established ethical and disciplinary procedures for practitioners in his state. Dr. Rogers holds both PhD and MA degrees in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, as well as a BS degree in Business from Johnson C. Smith University. His research interests include trauma, help-seeking attitudes and culturally appropriate interventions in mental health treatment.

Kristen Darley

Kristen received her BS in Psychology from Western Carolina University and earned her Masters in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Kristen is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors and has functioned in both community and private practice settings. Her areas of interest include women’s recovery from abuse, anxiety, depression, spirituality, sexuality, and women’s integrative health. Her specialty populations include teens & their families, college students and women of all ages.

Melissa A Bryson

Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate


Melissa received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Services and a Master of Arts. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montreat College. She specializes in working with the children and adolescent population in conjunction with marriage and family therapy where applicable. Additional areas served include adults, couples, and group therapy. Her experience includes working as a PRN in a residential group home for children and adolescents, therapeutic foster care, individual therapy, and group therapy. She has been involved in various areas of volunteer work. with both women and children. Melissa also serves as an Adjunct Professor teaching Psychology courses. Her interests are to help women, children, and adolescents process and navigate through traumatic experiences, to help them find their voice and expose truth, to advocate for children’s welfare, for stronger laws relative to adoption and foster care, for victims of human trafficking, and to help create functionality in the family unit where trauma has resulted due to a break in the family dynamic

Krista Colvin

Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern


Krista graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. in Health Systems Management and a minor in psychology. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Krista has a strong academic passion for trauma-informed care and the intersectionality of mental health and. spirituality. Her areas of interest include trauma-informed care, play therapy, and women and adolescents.

Dorothy Gaskin

Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern


Dorothy earned a Master’s in Theology from Covenant Bible College and Seminary in Tallahassee, FL. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montreat College in Montreat, NC. She is a certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessment Facilitator through the Les and Leslie Parrott Institute. She is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern under the supervision of Dr. Gabriel Rogers. Her specialty area is working with adolescence, adults, and couples. Her areas of interests include depression and anxiety, conflict resolution, marriage and premarital counseling, trauma, and substance use disorders. Working for over 30 years in leadership roles in corporate America has afford her the necessary skills to connect with people of all ages, cultures, and ethnicities. Dorothy served as a Guardian Ad Litem for Mecklenburg Courts advocating as the voice for children and adolescents. She currently serves as the President -Elect for the Chi Sigma Iota, Mu Chi Chapter, which is the international and professional academic honor society for counseling students, counselor educators, and professional counselors. She is a current member of the American Counseling Association.
